We focus on developing relationships, setting life goals, participating in meaningful social activities, and gaining independent living skills. This program is uniquely designed for those with ASD and related diagnoses because it:

  • Creates social interaction with a compatible group of peers
  • Gives attention to executive functioning levels
  • Develops effective communication in the community setting
Skill Development

Guided by the Wisconsin Waivers Manual for those with special needs, our program provides training and education to improve the participant’s ability to independently perform routine daily activities and effectively utilize community resources. We focus on skill development in the following areas: personal hygiene, food preparation, home upkeep/maintenance, money management, and accessing and using community resources.


Days and times

Participants attend a variety of days and hours depending on an assessment of his or her needs.

The program operates 9am-3pm Monday through Friday. 



Maplegrove has contracts with all Wisconsin Managed Care Organizations (MCO’s) including IRIS, Community Care, My Choice Family Care, I-Care, Continu-US, and others. We also accept private pay for this service and charge on a sliding scale dependent on financial need.
