The Asperger's Summer Program 2010

OVERVIEWEXPLOREPLANENROLL

PLAN

WHAT to Bring & wear

Participants should come in play clothes with comfortable shoes. They should dress appropriate for the weather (we spend a lot of time outdoors).

Participants should bring plenty of fluids, including a water bottle, a morning snack, a lunch, and an afternoon snack. A backpack is a great idea for change of clothes, taking projects home, and storing personal items. Participants may bring handheld game systems. We use them as reinforcement and social capital. We are not responsible for lost items.

OUTINGS

Every Wednesday, participants of The Asperger's Summer Program go on outings. Here is a list of the 2010 outings, along with some important instructions.

Outing Instructions

On days that we will be swimming, have your child come to The Program already wearing his/her swimsuit.
Please have your child come to the outings with sunblock already applied.
We will provide coolers for packed lunches.
Kids can bring spending money and/or recreational items. We are not responsible for lost or broken items.

Your child must be at the site and ready to go by 9am.
Your child can carpool with staff to the outings. This is elective, and not a service. You are welcome to drop your child off at the outing locations at 9:40.
Outings are subject to change.
